Cadillac Pick of the Week: Holiday Sweets

This week's honor goes to the Cadillac of holiday cookies, Eleni's New York, and the Cadillac of holiday chocolates, Jacques Torres.

 

Eleni's New York is famous for its brightly decorated cookies. The Chelsea shop has been known to put intricate designs on cookies -- like the faces of nominees for the Oscars -- and the holiday season gets equal treatment. Eleni's whips up boxes of smiling gingerbread men, vibrant candy canes and other holiday symbols, so pretty you'll think twice before you eat them. But you'll still eat them. Trust us.

 

Chocoholics will love the holiday chocolate at Jacques Torres. Choose from an array of dark and milk chocolate treats shaped to form holiday symbols. Or, stop in for a warm mug of rich chocolate after a long day of holiday shopping.
