Gilt Bar And The Girl & The Goat

These two recent additions to Chicago's restaurant scene offer casual and rustic takes on dining. Gilt Bar serves up artisanal cocktails, a top-notch menu and quirky decor with low-key vibe. Meanwhile Girl & the Goat, Top Chef champion Stephanie Izard’s new joint, is "a little rustic with a bit of badass," says Izard. Expect such daring dishes as cherry sofrito, rabbit "crepes" wrapped in rice noodles and seared scallops with caponata.
